So recently I’ve just been clucking about the interwebs, been doing this for a long while but around a year and a half ago I stumbled upon a iceberg video of obscure and unusual game developers. The most game design I’ve done at that point was a shit ton of mods for a game called sexy hiking, I feel like if it at this corner of the Internet then you have heard of it but if u haven’t it’s the game that inspired getting over it. now how I ended up there is pretty blurry to me but I had previous interest in the game before and then my hiking adventures came back in the form of modding. I guess that I probably heard from somewhere else that old game maker games were able to be decompiled, surprise surprise that was the engine sexy hiking was made in. I ended up initiating the modding scene for the game seeing how there was only 2 other mods at the time made by the same person. There’s a fuckton of other mods now and it’s actually rly fun to go through them.

Anyways, all the game maker language knowledge I had was just modding a shitty PC game. so I made my first game, rero. I also didn’t have a name at the time so, rero. I ended up making, lots more. but then u can make games without graphics. it got to a point where most of the game was making graphics for it. after that point I started making the mockup images to turn into games.

So, on my tiktok account I post just images. I take pictures and post em, #basedandglorious. since I enjoyed making these images and I could mass produce them I decided to make 26 and upload them on my page. bru ong I’m crunk but bro I forgot to say I needed to post the games sumwhere 2, so neocities came in clutch. rero.neocities.org
